Philosphie (spelled wrong)

K, i just found out my dad has diabeties, so iwas wondering what everyone's philosophie(s?) of life are/is. (i especially want to hear yours mrs. j)

do you mean on life in general? or with specific regards to health?

life in general

My philosphie (as you like to spell it T,) of life is summed up below; I don't always live it, but then again, do as i say, not as i do. it's from a card i bought and the text is from Walt Whitman, whom i'm sorry to say we did not read this year...

THIS IS WHAT YOU SHALL DO: LOVE THE EARTH AND SUN AND THE ANIMALS, DESPISE RICHES, GIVE ALMS TO EVERY ONE THAT ASKS, STAND UP FOR THE STUPID AND CRAZY, DEVOTE YOUR INCOME AND LABOR TO OTHERS, HATE TYRANTS, ARGUE NOT CONCERNING GOD, HAVE PATIENCE AND INDULGENCE TOWARD THE PEOPLE, TAKE OFF YOUR HAT TO NOTHING KNOWN OR UNKNOWN OR TO ANY MAN OR NUMBER OF MEN, GO FREELY WITH POWERFUL UNEDUCATED PERSONS AND WITH THE YOUNG AND WITH THE MOTHERS OF FAMILIES, READ THESE LEAVES IN THE OPEN AIR EVERY SEASON OF EVERY YEAR OF YOUR LIFE, RE-EXAMINE ALL YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD AT SCHOOL OR CHURCH OR IN ANY BOOK, DISMISS WHATEVER INSULTS YOUR SOUL, AND YOUR VERY FLESH SHALL BE A GREAT POEM AND HAVE THE RICHEST FLUENCY NOT ONLY IN ITS WORDS BUT IN THE SILENT LINES OF ITS LIPS AND FACE AND BETWEEN THE LASHES OF YOUR EYES AND IN EVERY MOTION AND JOINT OF YOUR BODY...

i especially like dismissing what insults your soul. VERY important part. i would also add, "everything in moderation."

T - hope your dad is doing well and will be able to manage this with meds, diet & exercise.

hes on weight watchers and will hopefully become better.
Though not as good as mrs j's mine is to live everyday like its the first day of the rest of your life.

I think life is made to have fun, and to achieve your wildest goals

I think that perfect would be its polar opposite.

So you think that if ur life sucks than you will have more fun? I am going to be a multi-billiobaire and enjoy doing it.

I think that if you realize how much of a part of someone's life that you are, and how real that makes you, it'll make you happy. You should be happy if you know that you have the power to make someone else happy.
